About Straightway Works

Straightway Works provides laser engraving, laser cutting, 3D printing, and manufacturing consulting from our shop in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. The business is owned and operated by Todd Martin.

Because we are a small shop, the person who prepares your quote is the same person who sets up the job, runs it, and packs the finished order. Your requirements are not passed between departments, so the details in your request reach production exactly as written.

Background in Manufacturing Systems

Todd's background is in sheet metal fabrication operations, production systems, and manufacturing data reporting. Our consulting work draws on that experience, and we apply it to our own operations by tracking orders, work orders, and inventory in a system built in-house.

How We Handle Work

We reply to every quote request within 1 business day with a written price and lead time. Production runs are fixtured so that the last piece in a run matches the first. When a job falls outside our capabilities, we say so directly and, where we can, refer the work to a shop that can produce it.

Custom Work and Retail Products

Custom and production work is quoted per job through the request form. Ready-made and personalized products, including tumblers, pet memorial keychains, and engraved gifts, are sold through our retail storefront.
